Rome, 19 October (LaPresse) – The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have announced the resumption of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. ‘In accordance with the directives of the political leadership and after a series of significant attacks,’ reads the Israeli forces' X profile, ‘the IDF has begun to enforce the ceasefire again following its violation by the terrorist organisation Hamas.’ The army adds that it ‘will continue to uphold the ceasefire agreement and will respond forcefully to any violations.’
