Rome, 1 October (LaPresse) – ‘Boarding operations are about to begin by military vessels that have revealed themselves and are currently near the head of the flotilla. We are not in a position to say when operations will begin, but it is certain that it will be a long and difficult night.’ This was stated by MP Arturo Scotto (PD) aboard the flotilla, speaking live on “ZTL” hosted by Davide Camera on Giornale Radio FM. ‘Going to Gaza despite the government's appeals? Someone will have to explain why a humanitarian mission in international waters is being arbitrarily blocked by an army that has no authority over international waters. Governments will have to answer for this,’ added Scotto.
