Rome, Sept. 22 (LaPresse) – "The images coming from Milan are disgraceful: so-called 'pro-Palestinians', so-called 'antifascists', so-called 'pacifists' who are vandalizing the station and clashing with law enforcement. Acts of violence and destruction that have nothing to do with solidarity and will not change the situation in Gaza in the slightest, but will have real consequences for Italian citizens, who will end up suffering and paying for the damage caused by these thugs."
So wrote Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on social media.
"A message of support to the law enforcement officers, forced to endure the arrogance and gratuitous violence of these so-called protesters," she added. "I expect clear words of condemnation from the strike organizers and all political forces."
