Pontida (Bergamo), Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – “Will Vannacci be the Lega of the next 10 years? Why shouldn’t he be? In the Lega we have plenty of capable people; secretaries are chosen in congresses and involve the Lega’s grassroots. Vannacci can be an asset if he acts as a Lega member,” said Veneto Governor Luca Zaia on the sidelines of the Pontida gathering. “Pontida is Pontida, the Lega of today is not the Lega of 30 years ago, and it will not be the Lega we have in 10 years; it is not the Lega we have today. I wished Umberto Bossi well the other day, spoke with him on the phone, and he’s still very much engaged. I have never been a cheerleader for any leader, but I must say that Bossi had great merit and great intuition: he gave a voice to those who had none,” Zaia added.
