Rome, 13 September (LaPresse) – "Together with M5S and Avs, we have managed to draft a joint motion on the Middle East. We continue to strongly call for sanctions against Netanyahu's criminal government and for the suspension of the EU-Israel agreement, as requested by 17 European countries, but Italy voted against it. We have called for the suspension of the Memorandum, and I believe that what we have done together and what we must continue to do because Palestinians continue to die I think it shows that even in foreign policy we can join forces, of course we need to discuss and debate. Because unity is not something the doctor asks of us, but something our people tell us to do'. This was said by PD secretary Elly Schlein, speaking at the “Fatto quotidiano” party, currently underway at the Circus Maximus.
