Rome, 12 August (LaPresse) – The government led by Giorgia Meloni today reached 1,025 days in office, surpassing Matteo Renzi's government in terms of longevity and ranking fourth among the longest-serving governments in the history of the Italian Republic. ‘One more reason to continue working with seriousness and determination, repaying the trust of the Italian people,’ the Prime Minister wrote on social media. At the top of the ranking remain the second and fourth Berlusconi governments, with 1,412 and 1,287 days in office, respectively, and the first Craxi government, the third longest-lasting with 1,093 days.
