Florence, Aug. 7 (LaPresse) – “I welcome the outcome of the Five Star Movement's consultation, which paves the way for the formation of a progressive coalition for the upcoming regional elections.” This was stated by the president of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani, in a note. “This is an important result,” added Giani, "which makes our region a key player in the new political season and strengthens the dialogue between political and civic forces committed to a fairer, more modern, greener, and more united Tuscany. I would like to thank the Democratic Party of Tuscany and in particular the regional secretary Emiliano Fossi, who has patiently woven the fabric of unity and convergence. I am convinced of the importance of the political alliance proposed by Secretary Elly Schlein at the national level. A shared path is now beginning, which I am sure will give rise to a strong, inclusive government project that is up to the challenges of the future," Giani concluded.
