Rome, August 6 (LaPresse) – “Someone is claiming that I sent the documents from the Ministers' Court regarding the Almasri case to the Chamber of Deputies late, alleging that I received them on August 1. Aside from the fact that the documents had to be read, reorganized, accompanied by certain necessary measures to implement the court's decisions, and fully photocopied, the time taken was minimal—namely, from August 4, when the documents arrived at the Prosecutor’s Office, to August 5, when they reached the Chamber. If 24 hours seems too much… Who said the documents arrived at the Prosecutor’s Office on August 1? Do they have access to confidential information that I don’t?” said Rome's Chief Prosecutor, Francesco Lo Voi, regarding the Almasri case.
