Milan, August 5 (LaPresse) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was "certainly informed" about the Almasri case – as also confirmed by Prefect Giovanni Caravelli, director of the Italian intelligence agency Aise – but "no detail or assessable element emerges regarding the scope, nature, extent, and purpose of the information, especially in terms of her involvement in the ‘decisions’ taken." This is stated by the Ministers’ Court in the ruling that led to the dismissal of the case against the Prime Minister. The court further highlighted that the elements presented against Meloni "do not possess the seriousness, precision, and consistency required to determine when and in what terms the Prime Minister was informed in advance and whether she supported the decision taken during the meetings, thereby reinforcing the criminal plan." The charges are therefore dismissed for the alleged crimes "in conspiracy with Ministers Nordio and Piantedosi and Undersecretary Mantovano, whose cases are being handled separately."
