Walking through Rome, you see flags from every country, young people gathered in prayer, singing, joking with each other and celebrating when they meet other young people waving the same flag or speaking the same language. In short, it is an extraordinary celebration of faith, joy and hope that fills our hearts and moves us deeply. That is why I too would like to welcome to Rome all the young people who have come to our city to take part in something unique that they will remember for the rest of their lives."
