Rome, June 11 (LaPresse) – "Gusmeroli and Garavaglia are working on the tax amnesty," said Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, responding to reporters on the sidelines of the Lega’s federal council meeting at Montecitorio.
When asked whether the fiscal peace measure could be included in the upcoming budget law, as hoped for by party leader Matteo Salvini during the council, Giorgetti replied: "Yes, the timing allows for it as well. Now we need to work on the data and the proposal. Then comes the parliamentary process."
Regarding the potential target audience of the measure, he added: "Exactly, that still needs to be defined."
As he left Palazzo Montecitorio, Giorgetti informed reporters of a scheduled meeting in the afternoon with Minister Tommaso Foti.
