Rome, June 11 (LaPresse) – “We have approved a tax reform that has been awaited for fifty years, and we are implementing it quickly. Our goal is to lower taxes for everyone and build a fairer and more balanced relationship between the State and taxpayers,” said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a video message to the general assembly of Confcommercio currently taking place in Rome.
“We are putting the self-employed and freelancers back at the center—workers who have long been disrespected and wrongly treated as second-class citizens,” the Prime Minister added.
“This is the path we will continue to follow to consolidate the positive economic trend we are seeing, strengthen domestic demand, and continue reducing the tax burden, with particular attention to the middle class. These are our goals, and I know they are yours too—those who care about this nation and work every day with one major goal: to make Italy greater, stronger, and more respected in the world. And I know that to achieve this, I need you, but I also know I can count on you.”
