Rome, May 31 (LaPresse) – "There is a value called freedom, which is the key to everything. Some people are making controversies about the guests we invited. I believe a youth movement has the right to understand the problems that a young person faces during adolescence by listening to witnesses. A witness does not necessarily have to be someone who has tattooed Berlusconi's name on their skin. We will have a great sports champion, and we will listen to testimonies about drug addiction — why does a young person decide to use drugs? There is a void. We need to understand what to do to fill those voids. Some of our own can understand this as well. I am not surprised that this movement invited a person who does not think like us and has often criticized and attacked us."
Thus spoke the Deputy Prime Minister and leader of Forza Italia, Antonio Tajani, during the Forza Italia Giovani congress regarding Fedez’s presence among the guests.
"He was invited to explain why he sometimes has so much anger and comes from a suffering and disadvantaged suburb. If we want to understand why there is distress in the suburbs, we must understand it not from the top of this podium but from those who have experienced or are experiencing this hardship. I am not scandalized if Fedez comes to tell me how a kid from the suburbs suffers and grows. It helps me understand, not to share his ideas. Never be afraid to confront others. Only those who are not confident in their own ideas avoid confrontation. If we do that, we have already lost," he added.
