Rome, 22 May (LaPresse) – A letter containing death threats was delivered to the President of the Sicilian Regional Government, Renato Schifani, at his home. According to reports, the letter, which was intercepted by the governor's security detail, refers to the construction of waste-to-energy plants, while the regional president's office also received an anonymous phone call threatening him over the ‘anti-crack’ laws. The mobile police unit is investigating the incidents.
