Rome, 16 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘Stefano and Virgilio Mattei were burnt alive in their home. Two innocent young men, killed by ideological fury and political hatred. Remembering them today is not only a moral duty: it is an act of justice towards truth and history. Because nothing is built on hatred. And because certain horrors must never happen again. Let's not forget’. This was written on X by the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the Primavalle massacre, which took place on 16 April 1973.
