Rome, April 2 (LaPresse) – Working to avoid a trade war between the United States and Europe "does not exclude, if necessary, having to consider adequate responses to defend our productions." This is what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said while attending the ceremony for the "Master of Italian Cuisine" award in the honor courtyard of Palazzo Chigi. "After all," Meloni recalled, "defending our agri-food sector has been a priority for this government since its inception. We have done this with unprecedented funding and investments, investing in the competitiveness of supply chains, combating counterfeiting and unfair competition, and focusing on training to bring young people closer to a world that needs their enthusiasm and capacity to innovate."
