Turin, 1 Apr. (LaPresse) – ’When this government began its mandate, in October 2022, the number of people employed in Italy was 23,231,000. Today, Istat's survey tells us that, in February 2025, that number had already risen to 24 million and 332 thousand: over a million more employed‘. It is the result of the work of many, first and foremost of businesses’. This is what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote on social media. ‘As a government we have tried to do our part: in just over two years, we have worked with the aim of creating opportunities, supporting businesses and restoring dignity to work. Our idea of Italy is taking shape, step by step’, she explains. “There is still a lot to do and we will not stop, because work is the first answer for those who want a stronger nation and a more prosperous future”, she concludes.
