Florence, 12 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘There is no contrast between loving peace and preparing any defence in today's world, especially after what happened, but I thought so before too really. It is the problem of having an army, an efficient defence. An efficient defence structure I believe is essential for the formation of a unit that can count in the world'. This was said by former Prime Minister Romano Prodi, this afternoon in Florence, on the sidelines of the lectio magistralis he gave at the University of Florence on the future of Europe.
