(LaPresse) – ‘The United Sections of the Court of Cassation have condemned the government to compensate a group of illegal immigrants transported by the Diciotti ship because the government at the time, with Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, did not immediately land them in Italy. They did so by affirming a very questionable compensation principle, that of the presumption of damage, contrary to established case law and the conclusions of the Attorney General's Office'. Council President Giorgia Meloni wrote this on social media.
