Rome, 16 Jan (LaPresse) – The Veneto? ‘We will talk and decide together. Of course, one cannot think that it is forbidden for FdI to propose candidacies in a region in the Centre North, something that has never happened so far'. So says Giovanni Donzelli, FdI deputy and party organisation manager in an interview with Corriere della Sera.Responding to a question on governor Luca Zaia, Donzelli reiterates that ‘the centre-right is and will remain compact. The issue of third mandates will be addressed in due course, it is clear that it cannot be that each region makes its own law. Term limits in direct elections exist in many democracies'. ‘We will talk about it, we will confront each other. Also on possible new candidacies. That said, we have never put the interest of the party ahead of that of the coalition. And it is a fact that there has never been a candidate of ours in recent years in a North Central region. It would not be so absurd if we were to single out a person who is an expression of FdI,' he concludes.
