Rome, 13 June (LaPresse) – The identification of the bodies of the three mountaineers who lost their lives last night on the north face of Gran Paradiso is currently underway. The emergency call was received by the Central Emergency Services (CUS) shortly after 7.30 pm, following the failure of the three mountaineers to return. A helicopter was immediately dispatched, enabling the bodies to be located at an altitude of around 3,600 metres. The identification operations are being carried out by the Sagf of Entreves.
