Milan, 28 May (LaPresse) – The Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office has ordered a psychiatric assessment of Andrea Sempio to “ascertain” whether the 38-year-old, who is under investigation for the murder of Chiara Poggi, suffers from “pathological conditions” that “could affect his mental capacity”. This was announced by the Chief Public Prosecutor of Pavia, Fabio Napoleone, in a statement. The psychiatrist Roberto Catanesi has been tasked with assessing the presence of ‘any disorders’ or “alterations” capable of affecting the ‘criminal responsibility’ of the friend of Marco Poggi, the victim’s brother.
