Cagliari, May 15 (LaPresse) – Massimo Pinna, a 54-year-old construction contractor from Maracalagonis, has died at Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari after sustaining serious injuries in a workplace accident on May 9. The man had fallen from a mobile platform while working at a construction site set up at a residence on Via della Resistenza. The fall, from a height of about four meters, caused him extremely severe injuries. Immediately rescued by emergency services, he was airlifted to Brotzu Hospital as a code red emergency and admitted to the intensive care unit, where he died during the night. Investigations are underway to precisely reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and determine the causes of the fall.
