Milan, Apr. 11 (LaPresse) – Luca Spada, 27, from Meldola (FC), a former Red Cross ambulance driver who was later suspended, was arrested this morning by the Carabinieri of the Forlì Company and the Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit of Bologna. The precautionary measure was carried out by the military at the request of the prosecutor’s office, as part of the investigation into suspicious deaths in ambulances. In particular, Spada is considered the alleged perpetrator of the aggravated murder of an 85-year-old woman, which is said to have occurred during a medical transport carried out on November 25 last year, the Carabinieri said in a statement. Spada has always maintained his innocence. Details of the investigation will be provided during a press conference scheduled for Monday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the Court of Forlì, in the presence of the Public Prosecutor.
