Rome, 10 April (LaPresse) – ‘The recent incident in which two militants from the anarchist movement lost their lives whilst constructing an explosive device is not a story to be quickly filed away: it confirms that the subversive threat is real, present and active.’ So said Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, speaking at the ceremony marking the 174th anniversary of the State Police. ‘Their role in prevention and the protection of sensitive targets is fundamental,’ added the head of the Interior Ministry.
