Milan, April 6 (LaPresse) – "Let us persevere in asking for the gift of peace for the whole world," said Pope Leo XIV at the conclusion of the Regina Coeli prayer. The Pontiff thanked all those who sent him Easter greetings in recent days, expressing particular gratitude for their prayers. "I wish you to spend this Easter Monday and the day of the Octave of Easter in joy and faith, as we continue to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Happy Easter Monday," he added, speaking from the window of his study in the Apostolic Palace overlooking St. Peter’s Square. The Pope also asked to remember Pope Francis with affection, who on last year’s Easter Monday passed into eternal life, and encouraged praying to the Virgin Mary, Seat of Wisdom, so that everyone may become ever brighter heralds of the truth.
