On 4 July, the Pope will preside over Mass in Lampedusa

Vatican City (Vatican), 30 March (LaPresse) – On 4 July at 10.00 am, Pope Leo XIV will preside over Mass in Lampedusa as part of his visit to the island. This is according to the calendar of Liturgical Celebrations presided over by the Pontiff between late April and July. In detail: on 26 April, at 9 am in St Peter’s Basilica, the Pope will preside over Mass with priestly ordinations. On 2 May, at 5 pm, he will preside over Mass at St John Lateran with episcopal ordinations. On 8 May, as part of his visit to Pompeii and Naples, on the occasion of the first anniversary of his election, he will celebrate Mass at 10.30 am at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Pompeii. On 24 May, Pentecost Sunday, the Pope will preside over Mass at St Peter’s at 10 am. Between 6 and 12 June, the Pope will travel to Spain, and on 20 June he will go to Pavia, where he will preside over Vespers at 5.00 pm. On 29 June, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the Pontiff will preside over Mass in St Peter’s Basilica, with the blessing and conferral of the pallium on the new metropolitan archbishops.
