Signorini case: Court partially upholds Corona’s appeal, “but he must remove the content he posted”

Milan, 28 March (LaPresse) – The Civil Court of Milan has partially upheld Fabrizio Corona’s appeal against the ruling handed down on 26 January, which had upheld the previous appeal by Alfonso Signorini’s lawyers prohibiting the broadcast of *Falsissimo*, originally scheduled for that same evening. The Court has revoked what the text describes as an ‘atypical seizure’ (‘non-judicial, non-precautionary’) relating to material deemed defamatory towards Signorini. The panel of the First Section of the Civil Court of Milan, presided over by Andrea Manlio Borrelli (judges Anna Bellesi and Serena Nicotra), ‘orders’ Corona to remove from hosting providers and social media the audio and video messages he has published, ‘which contain the epithets “pig” and “filthy pig” in reference to Alfonso Signorini; accuse Alfonso Signorini of having engaged in sexual blackmail; and disseminate a photograph of Alfonso Signorini naked and seen from behind".
