Rome, 18 March (LaPresse) – "What would I say to Trump? I would tell him to put an end to this as soon as possible because the danger of an escalation is truly imminent. I would tell him to leave Lebanon alone – this message is also directed at the Israelis – and to genuinely try to resolve any problems that may exist, or that they believe exist, through the peaceful channels of diplomacy and dialogue.” This was stated by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, on the sidelines of the presentation of journalist Ignazio Ingrao’s book on Pope XIV at the Chamber of Deputies.
