Tram derailed: traffic resumes in Milan after vehicle removal

Milan, 28 February. (LaPresse) – Tram services have resumed between Piazza della Repubblica and Viale Vittorio Veneto in Milan, following the removal of the derailed tram yesterday afternoon, which caused the death of two people. The tram was removed between 3 and 4 a.m., with the fire brigade, local police and staff from ATM, the Milanese transport company, in attendance. Work is currently underway to restore road markings and traffic lights destroyed in yesterday's accident.
