Rome, February 27 (LaPresse) – Codacons announces a complaint to the Court of Auditors of Liguria regarding the case of the fire department helicopter used yesterday to transport Mogol from Sanremo to Rome. This is a necessary action in the interest of the community, explains Codacons. The vehicles provided to the fire department are public resources, and their use involves costs in terms of personnel, fuel, and logistics, which are paid for by citizens. The decision to transport the lyricist to Rome by fire department helicopter deprived the community of a vital emergency vehicle on the one hand and, on the other, resulted in inevitable costs for the community," it adds. For these reasons, Codacons “announces that it will file a complaint with the Regional Court of Auditors of Liguria to ascertain the appropriateness of the decision made, the total cost of the transfer, the related responsibilities, and any financial damage linked to possible misuse of public funds.”
