Milan, 27 February (LaPresse) – The number of victims of the accident involving a tram on line 9 in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Milan has risen to two: in this case too, the victim is a man, previously classified as code red. Two patients are still considered to be in a serious condition and have been transferred to the Policlinico and Niguarda hospitals. Eight people have been classified as code yellow. The first victim of the tram derailment is a 60-year-old man from Rozzano, on the outskirts of Milan. He was probably a pedestrian who was hit by the tram as it derailed a short distance from the traffic lights and pedestrian crossing.
