Naples, 17 February (LaPresse) – ‘It is a great sorrow, because losing a historic theatre like this is a deep wound for the history and culture of the city. However, we will try to do everything we can to ensure that the theatre is returned to Naples and resumes the function it has always had over the years.’ These were the words of the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, on the fire at the Sannazaro Theatre.
