Milan, 1 February (LaPresse) – According to LaPresse, Alessandro Calista, 29, the police officer beaten up by a group of demonstrators during yesterday's clashes in Turin against the eviction of Askatasuna, will be discharged in the next few hours. Calista suffered several injuries, including a fracture, for which he will return to Molinette Hospital in the next few days to undergo surgery. Along with him, Lorenzo, 28, the officer who rescued him from the fury of the demonstrators, is also hospitalised and will be discharged. A total of 25 injured law enforcement officers were taken to the CTO hospital, two of whom remain in hospital.
