Rome, 30 January (LaPresse) – The Carabinieri of Campobello di Mazara, in the Trapani area, have executed the prison sentence against Emanuele Bonafede, 52, who was under house arrest, replacing the measure in place since March 2023. The measure stems from crimes of mafia association, unfaithful advocacy or consultancy, and aiding and abetting committed by Bonafede in support of Matteo Messina Denaro's fugitive status in the period prior to his arrest. Following the formalities, the man was taken to Trapani prison.
