Rome, 14 January (LaPresse) – The Turin State Police has carried out 8 precautionary measures against a number of young people, five of whom are accused of being among the main perpetrators of the serious disturbances that took place on 3 October 2025 in Turin during the “Blocchiamo tutto” (Let's block everything) demonstration advertised on social media by the “Coordinamento Torino per Gaza” (Turin Coordination for Gaza) in solidarity with the Palestinian people. In the context of an event attended by over 20,000 people, a small number of individuals forming the “front line” of the march carried out a violent attack against the police, first chasing police officers in groups, causing injuries, then throwing stones and glass bottles at the police units deployed to protect the “Torino Porta Susa” railway station, damaging several cars parked in spaces reserved for the police headquarters and, finally, attacking the police forces deployed in Piazza Castello to defend the Prefecture for over two hours. During this time, there were repeated throws of bottles, stones and sticks, facilitated by the construction of barricades both in the square and in the surrounding streets, the lighting of fires and the continuous and persistent action of the rioters against the police reinforcements sent to the scene, who were continuously attacked, as were passers-by walking through those streets; These actions were only countered through the use of numerous tear gas canisters, water cannons and charges carried out by the police units.
