Milan, dies in Magenta hospital: struck by homeowner during villa robbery

Milan, 14 Jan. (LaPresse) – He had been stabbed by the owner of the villa and was abandoned with a chest wound in front of Magenta hospital, in the province of Milan. Shortly after 11 a.m., in Lonate Pozzolo, in the province of Varese, the man, together with an accomplice, broke into the villa. Inside the house was the owner, who heard noises and discovered the two. A fight broke out during which the owner was struck with numerous punches to the face. One of the two thieves, however, was hit by a stab wound inflicted with a knife by the villa owner. The two fled in a car driven by a third accomplice who was waiting outside. The man was abandoned by the other two in front of Magenta hospital, where he died shortly afterward. The investigations are being coordinated by the Busto Arsizio Public Prosecutor’s Office and carried out by personnel of the Busto Carabinieri Company and the Provincial Investigative Unit.
