Rome, 2 January (LaPresse) – Once the identification procedures for the Italian victims and missing persons of the Crans-Montana fire have been completed, the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office will open a file. At least 119 people were injured in the fire, including 13 Italians, and six are missing. The Swiss police and judicial authorities will have to identify the bodies through DNA testing. The public prosecutors in Rome, who are responsible for crimes involving Italian citizens abroad, will receive a communication from the Foreign Ministry in the coming days and will then open an investigation, with no suspects at this stage.
