Rome, 2 January (LaPresse) – A hiker has died after being swept away by an avalanche that broke loose in the upper Maira Valley in the Vallonasso area, in the province of Cuneo. According to reports, three other people were involved, at least two of whom are in serious condition. A mountain rescue helicopter was called to the scene.
