Rome, 26 December. (LaPresse) – Following an anonymous tip-off received by the Operations Room of the Turin Police Headquarters via the “You Pol” app, which indicated possible drug dealing by two relatives living in two flats in the same building in the San Paolo area of Turin, police officers from the UPGSP and the San Paolo Police Station carried out a thorough check. Inside the first flat, there was a woman who said she was living with her son, who was out at the time. A search of the flat led to the recovery of 300 grams of hashish and marijuana, various scales, approximately €1,500 in cash, presumed proceeds from drug dealing, two mobile phones and several bags used to package the substance. Shortly afterwards, the son returned home and confirmed that he lived with his mother, but was found in possession of a set of keys that gave access to a second flat in the same building. Inside, another 350 grams of hashish, several scales and €1,770, believed to be proceeds from drug dealing, were found. The two were arrested on charges of drug dealing and taken to the Lorusso-Cutugno prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities. The Public Prosecutor's Office requested and obtained validation of the arrests.
