Milan, 23 December (LaPresse) – The Ministry of University and Research has published a decree containing guidelines for the filter semester for admission to medicine. Students will be allowed to “recover” their first exam mark if, after waiving the exam result and taking the second exam, they have not obtained a passing grade. The ranking will consist of several sections: the first will include aspiring doctors who have obtained three passing grades (18/30) in the Physics, Chemistry and Biology exams; the second section will include students who have obtained a score equal to or higher than eighteen out of thirty (18/30) in the exams for the three subjects, but who in the first exam session have rejected the score for one of the exams; the third section includes students who have obtained a score equal to or higher than eighteen out of thirty (18/30) in the exams for the three subjects, but who, in the first exam session, rejected the score for two of these exams. The fourth section will include students who obtained a score equal to or higher than eighteen out of thirty (18/30) in the exams for the three courses, but who, in the first exam session, rejected the score for all three exams. The fifth section includes students who obtained a score of 18 out of 30 in the exams for the three courses, but who, in the first exam session, refused to accept the score for all three exams.
