Milan, Nov. 27 (LaPresse) – The stagehand at La Scala Theater in Milan, who was fired for shouting “Free Palestine,” will receive compensation. The news was announced by Cub, the union that has been following the case from the beginning, communicating the decision of the Labor Court of Milan in favor of the stagehand. With the assistance of lawyers Villari and Giovanelli, the worker (who had a fixed-term contract) will now be compensated for all the months between her dismissal and the natural expiry of her contract. The theater will also have to cover the legal costs.
