Rome, Nov. 20 (LaPresse) – Is Trump's plan to end the war in Ukraine a possibility? "Yes, I think so, hoping that ‘channels of dialogue will open up that will allow this tragedy to end,’ even if it will be ‘very difficult to find a compromise’ between the parties. “I imagine that the path of negotiation will be an uphill battle,” but talking about the cession of territories “is premature” because it will be “the result of negotiation.” This is what Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, said when speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the exhibition ‘Prayer for Ukraine’ in Rome. Parolin stressed that as far as the negotiations are concerned, “Europe should participate” and “should make its voice heard, not remain excluded, also because it has been actively involved.” Parolin then renewed the Holy See's commitment to the humanitarian aspect.
