Naples, 3 November (LaPresse) – Two young men aged 18 and 22 confessed to being responsible for the shooting that claimed the life of 18-year-old Pasquale Nappo. They turned themselves in this morning at the police station in Torre Annunziata. In the presence of their lawyer, Mauro Porcelli, they confessed to the murder of the 18-year-old to the public prosecutor of the Oplontina Prosecutor's Office and provided their version of what happened on the evening of 1 November in Boscoreale, a small town in the province of Naples. The context in which the murder of the 18-year-old from Scafati (Salerno), who had no criminal record, took place is still to be clarified, as is whether he was the target of the armed raid. According to initial reports, the shots were fired by the 18-year-old who was travelling on the scooter driven by the 22-year-old. One line of inquiry being pursued by investigators is that the murder took place in connection with drug dealing in the area, but it remains to be clarified whether or not the 18-year-old was involved in such activities. The Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata investigative unit are investigating the incident, in coordination with the Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office. At the moment, no arrest warrants have been issued for the two young men.
