Milan, 19 October (LaPresse) – ‘We touch on so many interests, so many issues, so many centres of power that it's a bit impossible’ to understand who is behind it, but "I believe it is the work of someone linked to criminality or, in any case, someone who uses criminality. I don't see any scenarios involving political instigators; politics has other tools at its disposal if it wants to cause harm. So I would be much more down to earth, but it is possible that someone might think they are doing a favour for a friend, yes." This is what Sigfrido Ranucci, journalist and presenter of Report, said after Friday's attack, interviewed on “In Mezz'ora”. ‘We have some very sensitive episodes in the pipeline that also concern criminal interests, and this may lead us to think that this is the origin, but no one can rule out that it may be something from the past,’ he added. ‘I believe the message was to say that whoever did it knows my movements and my habits. This is quite clear, the signal they wanted to send, even with a device that the bomb squad told me after the initial investigations was a rudimentary device,’ the journalist added.
