Genoa, Oct. 14 (LaPresse) – A sentence of 18 years and 6 months in prison has been requested by the prosecution in Genoa for Giovanni Castellucci, former CEO of Aspi, in the trial over the Morandi Bridge disaster. After the conclusion of the prosecutors’ closing statements, today was the start of sentencing requests: the first submitted in today’s hearing is for the former head of Autostrade, among the 57 defendants in the trial for the collapse of the infrastructure in 2018 which caused 43 deaths.
