Udine, 14 October (LaPresse) – “We play, but only up to a point”, “No legitimacy for the Israeli occupation” and “Let's show Israel the red card” are some of the banners and signs displayed in Udine during the pro-Palestine demonstration organised on the day of the Italy-Israel match, valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, scheduled for tonight at the Bluenergy Stadium in the Friuli capital. The march started from Piazza della Repubblica and crossed Via Aquileia, heading towards Piazza Primo Maggio. A large Palestinian flag was unfurled in the centre of the march, which saw the participation of several thousand people.
