Pavia, 25 September (LaPresse) – Fingerprint 33 remains excluded from the preliminary hearing. During the hearing before Judge Daniela Garlaschelli, the Poggi family's lawyers reiterated their request for a preliminary hearing also on fingerprint 33, which according to the prosecution is attributable to Andrea Sempio. Alberto Stasi's lawyers opposed this on the grounds that it was a “repeatable investigation”, while Sempio's defence team deferred. “The prosecutor has already said that he will bring this issue before the Court of Assizes in proceedings against Sempio. The impression is that the decisions have already been made,” commented Francesco Compagna, Marco Poggi's defence lawyer. During the hearing, the judge appointed fingerprint expert Giovanni Di Censo to evaluate the comparative aspect of the fingerprints.
