Naples, Sept. 23 (LaPresse) – The Municipality of Forio d'Ischia strongly recommends "not leaving your home unless absolutely necessary, avoiding walking or driving in areas most affected" by the flooding currently occurring in various parts of the municipality. This recommendation was issued by the local authorities following heavy rainfall this morning on the island of Ischia, which caused "severe flooding" in particular in Forio, "despite the yellow-level weather warning issued by the Civil Protection," the municipality emphasized.
