Naples, 22 September. (LaPresse) – The Seveso River has flooded in the northern part of Milan, in the Prato Centenaro neighbourhood. The flooding began shortly after 10 a.m. following the filling of the reservoir activated at 8 a.m. due to heavy rain throughout the river basin since 5 a.m. this morning. The news was reported by Marco Granelli, Milan's councillor for civil protection. “The Lambro is also high and has flooded Via Vittorini, which is protected by mobile flood barriers installed at 6 a.m. this morning,” Granelli said.
